Six years in the making, Hartzview’s first Single Cask Whisky marks a special milestone for our family and distillery. Aged for six years in sherry French oak and bottled at 46% ABV, this exceptionally limited release comprises just 365 individually bottled pieces of Hartzview history.
And there will only ever be 365. Once this first release is gone, it’s gone.
Crafted to honour four generations and a shared family vision, this refined Tasmanian whisky has been made with a focus on balance, texture and character. Soft oak and Turkish delight lift a silky, velvety palate, before a poised and beautifully balanced finish. Enjoy it neat, or add a few drops of water to reveal further layers of complexity.
Our first release has already made its mark, earning a Silver Medal at the 2026 Royal Tasmanian Whisky & Spirits Awards. It’s an achievement we’re particularly proud of for our first whisky, and a fitting beginning to a new chapter in the Hartzview story.
With only a single cask available, this release will not be offered through wholesale. All 365 bottles are being made available directly through Hartzview, giving whisky lovers and collectors the opportunity to own a bottle from the very beginning.
