Hartzview Wines
Pinot Noir is the predominant variety grown at Hartzview - see details and pictures below. This is because Tasmania's cooler climate means that we have a long growing season. Picking is not until May, ensuring the slow, full development of fruit flavours and intense aromas that characterise high quality wines. All the grapes are carefully hand-picked, pruned and trained, enabling the production of the finest quality fruit to be produced for the Hartzview range.
The Hartzview Wine Centre also offers a variety of quality wines from 12 other Tasmanian vineyards. Wines include Chardonnay (wooded and non-wooded), Reisling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sparkling Champernoise.
