Hartzview Ports and Liqueurs

These fortified wines are all made from 100% natural, high quality fruit. No artificial flavours or colourings are used in their production. NO PRESERVATIVES are used. The 18% alc/vol ensures stability.

500ml Decanter	Mead (Spiced Apple Liqueur Mead): A blend of premium Tasmanian Honey, apples, cloves, cinnamon and aged in oak, resulting in a rich, luscious creamy Honey Mead. Unlike many meads it is not excessivley sweet, but well balanced with apple and spices - delicious after dinner. (available in 40ml, 200ml, and the 500ml Studio Decanter - see picture left)

375ml	Raspberry fortified wine: 100% raspberries gives an intense Raspberry nose, with rich, sweet luscious fruit flavours on the palate, smooth and lingering. This dessert style of fortified wine is delicious on its own or served with mixed berries and ice cream. (available in 40ml, 200ml, 375ml or 750ml bottles)

375ml	Blackcurrant Fortified Wine: Made from 100% blackcurrants, this is similar in style to tawny port and particularly popular with men. "Deep tawny colour with an intense blackcurrant aroma. Palate is smooth, mouth-filling blackcurrant, exhibiting an excellent balance of matured fruit flavour, with a lingering finish." (available in 40ml, 200ml, 375ml or 750ml bottles)

375ml	Cherry Fortified Wine: Four years bottle age gives this dessert port, delightful integrated flavours. Not as heavy as traditional port and a delicious accompaniment to desserts and coffee - especially black forest or mud cake. "Fine tawny colour, strong cherry aroma, followed on the palate with cherry fruit, a hint of well integrated oak, and sweet lingering finish." (available in 40ml, 200ml, 375ml or 750ml bottles)

375ml	Blackberry Fortified Wine: Made from fresh blackberries grown at the Hartzview Vineyard. Fermented aged and fortified. "Brilliant red-ruby colour, intense fresh blackberry aroma. Blackberry flavours increase and are even more dominant on palate, smooth, sweet mouth-filling with delightful length. (available in 40ml, 200ml, 375ml or 750ml bottles)

375ml	Blueberry Fortified Wine (Sweet Dessert Wine/Port): "Colour is a vibrant deep, mauve, intense blueberry fruit on the nose. Palate is rich, full bodied luscious blueberry fruit integrated with the alcohol, making it a well rounded flavoursome liqueur with a velvety sweet finish." (available in 40ml, 200ml, 375ml or 750ml bottles)

750ml	Tasmanian Cassis (Sweet): It is made from 100% Tasmanian blackcurrants. Similar in style to the traditional French Creme de Cassis, intense blackcurrant fruit arome, the palate is very sweet, rich, smooth and full bodied, with long lingering flavours. It is superb for those who like a very sweet liqueur, or for those who enjoy Kir Royale. The French use Cassis predominantly to mix to make Kir (white wine and a small amount of Cassis) or Kir Royale (Champagne and Cassis) as delicious apperitifs. Also makes a great liqueur coffee, or can be served on ice, or it is exceptional on fine vanilla ice cream as a dessert. (available in 200ml, 375ml or 750ml bottles)
